Life is full of unexpected twists and turns, and sometimes, the road takes us in a direction we didn’t originally plan. As much as we were looking forward to heading to Daytona Bike Week this year, we’ve decided to sit this one out. But trust me—there’s a good reason for it. Big changes are happening, and 2025 is shaping up to be a year full of exciting new opportunities.

A Shift in Plans

For years, Daytona has been a staple in our calendar, a time to hit the road, meet up with friends, and be part of the incredible energy that comes with bike week. But this year, we’re taking a step back to focus on the bigger picture. Change is never easy, but sometimes it’s necessary to grow. We’re making adjustments, refining our goals, and setting up for an even bigger year ahead.

There’s a lot in the works—more events, more builds, and new adventures. The van build is still in progress, setting us up for long-haul travel, marketing Amsoil, and bringing our bikes to shows across the country. Plus, our Amsoil business is evolving, and with that comes new strategies to reach riders, overlanders, and motorsports enthusiasts in ways we haven’t before.

The Biggest Change of All

But the most important and exciting change? I became a grandpa! Our first granddaughter has arrived, and there are no words to describe the joy of stepping into this new chapter of life. It’s a reminder of what truly matters—family, legacy, and the moments we cherish. Watching her come into the world put everything into perspective. While the open road will always call, some things are worth slowing down for.

Looking Ahead to 2025

While Daytona won’t be happening for us this year, that doesn’t mean we’re slowing down. In fact, 2025 is going to be bigger and better than ever. More rallies, new builds, and expanding what we do in the motorcycle and overlanding space. The BMW drift car will be making its way to events, the van build will be road-tested, and we’ll be pushing forward with the Amsoil business stronger than before.

This year is about laying the groundwork, setting up for success, and making sure when we roll into 2025, we’re ready to hit the ground running.

The Road Ahead

If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that life doesn’t always go according to plan—but that’s part of the adventure. Sometimes, you have to take a step back to leap forward. While it’s tough to miss Daytona this year, the changes we’re making now are setting us up for even bigger things.

To everyone who’s been following our journey—thank you. Your support, encouragement, and shared passion for the road mean everything. We’ve got a lot to look forward to, and I can’t wait to share what’s coming next.
